ST. LOUIS, MO – September 30, 2026 – Pairidex, a developer of personalized monitoring assays for fusion-driven blood cancers, today announced the appointment of Matt Sargent to its Board of Directors. Sargent brings more than 20 years of experience leading commercial teams in oncology diagnostics and will be a key advisor as Pairidex advances the commercialization of FusionMRD™, its ultra-sensitive measurable residual disease (MRD) test.
“We are excited to welcome Matt to our Board of Directors and to learn from his track record of successfully commercializing oncology diagnostics,” said Andrew Young, MD, PhD, Founder and Chief Scientific Officer of Pairidex. “As we turn our focus to market access and commercialization following the validation of FusionMRD as a laboratory developed test, Matt will bring a critical new perspective to our Board.”
Sargent currently serves as Chief Commercial Officer of Geneoscopy, a St. Louis-based diagnostics company commercializing ColoSense®, an FDA-approved, RNA-based, at-home stool test for colorectal cancer screening. During his tenure, ColoSense has secured Medicare coverage, been included in both NCCN and ACS Guidelines, and is now available nationwide through a commercial partnership with Labcorp. Previously, Sargent served as Chief Business Officer at Harbinger Health, where he led business development for the company’s blood-based cancer early detection test. Prior to Harbinger, he was Chief Commercial Officer of Biotheranostics. Following Hologic’s acquisition of the company, Sargent joined Hologic as Vice President of Commercial Oncology, where he led the company’s CLIA-based oncology diagnostics business. Earlier in his career, he was Vice President of Oncology Sales at Caris Life Sciences and held sales leadership roles at other diagnostics companies.
“The evolution of measurable residual disease testing is one of the most rapid and significant advancements in oncology diagnostics I’ve witnessed in my career. Today, sensitive, minimally invasive MRD monitoring has the potential to transform how clinicians manage leukemia,” said Sargent. “I am thrilled to join the Pairidex Board to help bring FusionMRD to the physicians and patients who need it most.”
